SHIRLEY TEMPLE DOLL, CASE & OUTFITS. 1930's SHIRLEY TEMPLE 18" DOLL by IDEAL "COP with CASE & OUTFITS! Original 1930's Shirley Temple Doll made by Ideal Company. She is composite 18 tall and has arms/legs/head attached with metal clips and cloth bands. She is complete with dimples, all original slip, dress, jacket and wig, no shoes. The is also Shirley Temple on back. Her sleeping eyes work as they should but are a little cloudy, cataracts I presume lol. She is in average vintage shape for her age, however, as seen in the photos there is some crackling on her painted limbs and face. It is unsure as to what the wig is made of and the wig does need some glue & "hair styling". For being nearly 90 years old, Shirley looks good!! This would look great in any collection or perfect for a restoration project. 15-1/2" x 8" x 10 Wooded Travel Case with broken leather handle on top, nice leather corners and brass latches, has faux stickers from Imperial Airways most have been peeled off but, the case is in EXCELLENT CONDITION on the inside with two cabinet style doors on the top, three drawers with nice brass pulls and an entire side for hanging dresses and outfits with metal hangers.

Also stuffed full of over XX very well made high quality outfits and accessories with nice metal hangers! Travel case, doll and outfits haven't seen the light of day since prior to 1971. This case was found with a large stash of Barbie, Midge, Jan & Jill, skipper, Ginny, Ginnette, countless dolls, outfits, accessories and much more. A lot of it still in unopened packages. This little gem of a case has outfits that look as if they've never been played with and all for the same size doll.

Some of these outfits may be from the 50's or 60's, they are all off very high quality and mostly look un-play with. The case and doll are certainly from the 1930's But, it was found with a lot of other dolls and outfits prior to 1963 so there is a possibility some of the outfits are newer from the 50's and early 60's. This is a nice little find and very nice little case when opened, with very nice high quality outfits.

They are all gems and you will not be disappointed with the quality of the cloths and outfits, I'm no expert on dolls and accessories, this just seemed the best way to sell this, as a total lot. Comes with 10 high quality outfits, several bloomers, bonnets, 3 paid of leather shoes and 1 pair of roller skates! You'll be hard pressed to find another complete set like this from this era.

They were getting ready to take down the storage rooms and make room for a new building, and destroying everything inside. This locker had toys, Barbie's, Barbie accessories and dolls, many with dates and everything is dated prior to 1971.

Just a guess, but I think this storage area could have been from someone in the military and or a GI. There are a lot of reasons for someone in military in the late 60's and early 70's to leave a storage room and never return. This storage was located near Washington DC, Baltimore and Ft.
