1930s VINTAGE ALL ORIGINAL IDEAL 18 COMPOSITION SHIRLEY TEMPLE DOLL WITH BUTTON

  

An all original 1930s vintage composition Shirley Temple doll with her original dress and button. She has blonde hair, rosey cheeks, sleep eyes, a felt tongue and front teeth.

She's marked on the back with a number 18, Ideal Shirley Temple. She has blue ribbons on her wrists that are attached to her dress and she has her original Shirley button on her dress. She's just as I found her and she's a little bit dusty/dirty as she hasn't been played with for decades. Her compo legs, arms and body are a bit dirty but just need to be washed off.

You can see in the photos that the button one her dress has left a couple of spots and there's a couple of tears on her dress by the button. Also, her eyes are crazed and there's some crazing on her cheeks but is under the sheen. There's some short thin lines on one side of her cheek but I bet they will wash off.

Her joints are a bit loose and the stringing needs to be tightened up a bit. Shirley has on her original shoes and socks but her socks has holes and her shoes show a bit of wear.

I tried to mention ANY fault that I could find. She's a gorgeous, all original doll and except for what's mentioned above is in excellent antique condition. VINTAGE CLOTHING MAY HAVE TO BE WASHED BEFORE WEARING AS THEY MORE THAN LIKELY HAVE BEEN HANGING IN A CLOSET FOR DECADES OR STORED AWAY IN AN ATTIC.

I VERY RARELY EVER WASH THEM AND NEVER REPAIR ANY OF THEM AND THEY COME TO YOU JUST AS I FIND THEM.
