Wonderful, 13 tall , original 1934, early issue , signed head and body, composition Shirley Temple doll produced by Ideal Novelty & Toy Co. As designed by Bernard Lipfert.

Wearing original, fully tagged: Genuine/Ideal Shirley Temple, etc. Stiff organdy pleated, pink dress, with blue ribbon wrist ties, original organdy petticoat with attached panties, one original sock and leatherette shoe and original Ideal Shirley Temple doll pin. She has gorgeous hazel brown sleep eyes with perfect inset sable eyelashes as well as painted lashes and multi-stroke brows, original beautiful, curly blond wig in original soft curly set, an open mouth with row of pearly teeth, molded dimples and gorgeous pink blush. She has a swivel neck and joints at her shoulders and is marked on the back of her neck : Shirley Temple (inside her leg joints : 13) and across her shoulders : Shirley Temple over 13 (as described on pages 13-15, "Shirley Temple Dolls & Fashions"-Pardella).

She is in extremely good overall condition with no cracks or damages, some faint paint craze lines, no repainting or stains and no odors as she is from a smoke free home. Her clothing has never been laundered and no repairs.
