Composition Shirley Temple doll in the rare Size 11, complete with her original red and white dress and red ribbons. She has black shoes and white socks.

Her eyes close when you lie her down, and open when she sits up, sometimes wider than others. Her composition body has crazing in various areas, including fingers. Shirley's clothes do not come off, because the underclothes are sewn all as one piece with the dress, and there are red bows on each of her wrists, lightly sewn to the dress, so that when she raises her arms, the dress is held out with her.

She is marked Shirley Temple 11. There weren't nearly as many of the No. 11 dolls made, so they are harder to come by.

The clothes worn by these 11 dolls wore replicas of the dresses from the Shirley Temple Movies. This little gal's red and white polka dot dress with the ruffled collar and red bows to match, is a bit fragile, with a couple of places where it looks as if the fabric has just thinned so much that it's left some small tears, mostly around the bottom edge of the ruffled collar, but otherwise it's in good shape, just not a vivid red as it probably once might have been.

It has more of a subdued red color to the dots, while the bows are still bright red. The socks also have some wear to them.
