13 Ideal 1930's Shirley Temple Composition Doll Orig. Box & Pin & Photo Curlers.

Very darling all composition Shirley Temple doll made by Ideal. She is all composition & jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. She has such a pretty face with cloudy hazel sleep eyes, some minor cracks (see photo), light brown nicely arched painted eyebrows, soft upper lashes and painted lower lashes. She has red lips with an open mouth showing a row of 6 teeth and a dimples on both cheeks. She is marked on her back Shirley Temple 13 and on the back of her neck Shirley Temple. Her hair is the original mohair wig, blonde and parted in the middle.

Her hair is original & in very nice condition with beautiful curls all around. She has the curlers in the box but they are melted.

She has one-piece panty & slip. Her dress is a light organdy material. It is white with little tiny red polka dots with a full gathered skirt, short sleeves and a ruffle around the neckline.

A red ribbon decorates around the waist as well as a red ribbon bow stitched on both sides of the skirt with two buttons in the back for closure. The dress with it's original tag is in excellent condition with no tears or frays that I can see with the color not faded or yellowed.

Ribbons on side so she can flair her dress. She has vintage white colored nylon ribbed stockings rolled down around the ankles and light red rectangular spots around the tops with vintage cream colored oil cloth shoes with a snap on the ankle strap.

A Darling dollShe is clean and in addition she has her original pin with her picture on it and reads The World? S Darling Genuine Shirley Temple Doll. Also in the box was a 8x10 photo of Shirley with back explaining that each doll comes with this photo. Curlers (that have melted from age) came in an envelope with instructions how to curl her hair to play Beauty Shop. Wear & tears to the edges of her envelope & instructions as well as a few tears and bending to the photo which has been in the box for almost 100 years!

She comes in her original box which someone has marked 1937. It's stamped blue but it's the red dress. A tear to the top of the box but it's still in very good condition. You don't see that included often.
