1930 Composition Doll Shirley Temple Eegee Miss Charming Horsman Bright Star 20

  
For your consideration is a vintage 1930's Unmarked Composition Shirley Temple Look-a-like doll. She may be an Eegee Miss Charming or possibly a Horsman Bright Star. We are not doll experts and are unable to identify her. I assume if you are a doll collector you may recognize this doll. She measures just over 19.5 tall and comes in a purple dress, overcoat, under slip onesie, and shoes with socks. The dress is in good condition for its age but does show some minor wear and a few small stain spots. She has a blonde mohair wig with blue eyes. She is preowned and does show wear for her age but she is in nice condition considering she is nearly 100 years old. The composition does have some crazing mostly on her legs, as shown in photos. Her body is in good condition but is loose and may need to be tightened. She will sit and her head can be positioned in a front-facing direction, but her arms will not stay positioned or extended because she is loose. She does have nice face paint and sleep eyes that open and close.

She has an open mouth with fake teeth and felt tongue. Body and dress could use a gentle cleaning. I have not attempted to do so, for fear of damaging the doll. That will be left up to the new owner.

She is unmarked on her back or head but she is marked 20/4 on her underarms at the joint. No other markings that we can find.

She comes from a local doll collector's estate. She has been in storage for many years. Please see photos to add to description. What you see is what you will get.
