1930's Ideal Shirley Temple 18 Composition Doll

  
Temple Marked Composition Doll 18 Tall. I think I paid way too much for her, now that I have seen similar Shirleys' online.

She has the typical crazing around her face and eyes which is no surprise for being so old. Her green tin sleep eyes are crushed but there is limited rusting and they still maintain the white versus yellow appearance. She has her original mohair lashes but her wig appears to be synthetic?

I would guess her original wig would have also been mohair? Her replacement wig is in nice shape and the curls are still intact. The dress does appear to be original but when I washed her clothing the button and tag became loose (can sew back on per request).

Also some red dye ran through parts of the dress from the red satin ribbon. Lesson learned on gently washing antique clothing. Overall, this doll is in antique condition but would be a lovely addition to any doll collector. She possesses all the nice qualities that Shirley is known for and is becoming a harder commodity to find.
