This is an official Shirley Temple doll made by Ideal likely from the 1930s. Ideal was the only company allowed to officially make and market Shirley Temple dolls.

She is an 18 inch composition doll in an outfit from Poor Little Rich Girl. Her wig is in excellent condition and her eyes, with eyelashes, open and close. She is in an original outfit with undergarments, shoes, socks and a hat. She has Shirley Temple 18 embossed on her back, Ideal is embossed on her head. Dress has original tag IDEAL tag.

She has two Shirley Temple buttons. Her skin is crackled and one of her eyes is no longer clear. Full write up about the doll history here.
