Vintage 1930's 20 Composition Ideal Shirley Temple Doll in Little Miss Broadway Princess Dress. Beautiful1930's 20" composition Ideal Shirley Temple Doll wearing a seamstress made replica of the silver princess dress that Shirley wore in the dance and song routine "I'll Build a Broadway in the 1938 film Little Miss Broadway. Excellent condition body and pretty face. She is all composition, jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips. She has had a brown iris transplant in her sleep eyes and has thick brush lashes.

Hand painted upper eye line, lower lashes, multi-stroke eyebrows, light cheek blush, open smiling mouth showing six upper teeth and a dimple in each cheek. Her vintage mohair wig is in ringlet curls.

The last photo shows the original doll that was part of the "Love Shirley" collection - Shirley's personal doll collection auctioned in 2015. This one of a kind 13 doll is wearing a costume of rhinestone-studded tulle with silver metallic bodice, rhinestone-studded tiara, socks and original silver shoes with rhinestone trim. The unique doll costume was custom made in the wardrobe department of Fox using remnants of fabric and trim from Shirley's performance costume. Original, working, iris transplanted, sleep eyes with thick lashes.

She can stand and pose. Perfect fingers and toes without any repairs or rebuilds. Very light crazing, tiny cracks around her eyes.

No chips, lifting, large stains or flaking paint. She does not appear to ever have been craze controlled either. Costume is seamstress made and in excellent condition. Underwear, shoes and socks are all in excellent condition.
