Composition Shirley Temple by Ideal 18 Rare Variation Stand Up and Cheer Dress

  

Here is a 1934 all composition Shirley Temple doll with socket head and five piece body, sleep eyes, mohair lashes, original blonde mohair wig in ringlet curls. Marked Shirley Temple 18 on torso. Shirley Temple 18 markings on head. She is wearing a rare variation of costume from "Stand Up and Cheer".

It has the Shirley Temple Ideal Tag on her dress as well as the original button "The Worlds Little Darling". Her eyes are brown with a little glazing. She has some minor cracks under her eyes on her face and one on the back of her neck as seen in pictures.

Again, not distracting from this wonderful doll. I have not taken her shoes off because the snaps are so fragile, but feels like all her toes are intact.

She has her original socks. I didn't take her dress off as it is also fragile. I have pictured a small wear on the back of the dress. I have included a page from the book Shirley Temple Collections describing this doll.

As I have reached 80 years old, it is time to let go of these Shirley Dolls. This one is one of my best. I will be listing a few more as time goes by.
