Hard To Find 1930'S Ideal Compositon 16 Shirley Temple Baby Doll Flirty Eyes

  

This listing is for a pre-owned Vintage 1930s Flirty-eye Composition/Cloth Body crier box Shirley Temple 16 Baby Doll. Hard to find 1930's Vintage Ideal Shirley Temple Baby doll with composition head, limbs and a cloth body measuring 16 inches tall. The back of the neck says "Shirley Temple" She has working sleep eyes that also move side to side, up and down. The center of the eyes look like they have tiny chips or crack. She has an open mouth but teeth are missing.

This doll does have a crier box, but it unfortunately does not work, which is quite common with these older dolls. She does show signs of some age and wear including very little surface crazing, little chips on some of the composition tips of her fingers and some paint wear on feet and the corner of the shoulder plate. There is surface discoloration/spots to the cloth body and visible glue residue where her shoulder plate meets the body. The wires in the back of her legs are showing through the cloth body. Dresses needs some mending and some rust stain on the back of blue dress, holes in her pink lace panties. I did replaced her hair for a new curly wig. Overall in very good condition considering her age! Please see all photos and zoom in for details for all sales are final.
