Ideal Shirley Temple 16 Composition Doll 1935 in Rare Costume Starburst Dress

  

Here is an All Original Ideal Shirley Temple 16" Composition Doll 1935 in a Rare Variation Costume Known as "Starburst Dress. All composition with socket head and five piece body, sleep clear eyes, mohair lashes and original blonde mohair wig in ringlet curls.

Marked on torso Shirley Temple 16 and on back of head Shirley Temple 16. The condition is overall good in original unplayed with condition. Wearing coral pink costume known as "Starburst Dress" with aqua satin ribbons and hair bow. One piece undergarment, socks, shoes, and original "Worlds Little Darling" celluloid button. She has great face coloring with clear eyes and all of her lashes.

Her hair could use a little care, but all her curls are there and looks good front and back with soft mohair. I did not take her shoes off because the snaps are so fragile. As well, I did not undress her because the fabric is also fragile.

But no visible cracks or crazes. No rust stains on undergarments or holes in dress. The top button is missing on her dress. She is really a nice doll. A Shirley doll in the same dress is on the cover of a book Shirley Temple collections.
