SHIRLEY TEMPLE AND HER DOLL BY DANBURY MINT. NEVER REMOVED FROM BOX - opened for pictures only! " Shirley and Her Doll" porcelain doll set from the Two of a Kind Doll Collection from Danbury Mint. FIRST-EVER PAIR OF PORCELAIN DOLLS inspired by an actual 1930's promotional photo of Shirley holding a look-alike play doll. Both dolls are expertly crafted of fine bisque porcelain.

Shirley and her doll are wearing hand-sewn recreations of the daisy-pattern dress worn by Shirley in the 1935 movie, Curly Top. Dresses feature ribbon-embroidered appliques of daisies, pleated skirts, and dainty bows on gathered sleeves.

Both dolls are wearing white shoes with white socks. Shirley measures 14 1/2 seated on the chair.

Shirley's doll is 7 inches tall. Included is an ornate decorative white metal chair 10 1/2 inches tall by 7 inches wide. This doll has been officially authorized by Shirley Temple herself and Shirley's signature is inscribed into the porcelain of the larger doll. Also, a serial-numbered Certificate of Authenticity is included. In addition, the original Shirley and Her Doll phamalet.

The DOLL SET has NEVER BEEN REMOVED FROM BOX. Includes 3 pieces in set. Beautifully colored page of Shirley and her doll taken from a 1950's Shirley Temple coloring book. The coloring page is 8" x 11". A 2-1/2" x 3-1/4" black and white print of Shirley and her doll taken from a 1950's publication.
