My breath was taken away when I was sifting through childhood treasures and found her laying untouched in the original box. The original owner was a lucky little girl who knew that this was her pretty doll and only ever looked at hernever played with.

Her signature honey mohair wig is extremely thick and curly and has an adorable single curl brushing her forehead. She has never been touched or cleaned, and has been laying in her box for over 70 years. The back of her mohair wig is flat from laying down for all that time.

Her dress, undergarments, socks and shoes are crispy and vivid and has all tags and her special Ideal button. Her eyes open and close with ease and have their lashes. Her bright high-coloring is exquisite and bright fleshy pink color with full red blushing cheeks, painted lashes, and lips with no rubs. Her composition, while vivid and shiny, has obvious crazing throughout her face and limbs. Please study the photos and zoom in, as they are meant to be the visual description.

While she is crazed, there are no actual cracks or lifts in her composition. Her vivid skin tone is brilliant and not at all pale, as she was stored in her box and never exposed to light. The original box retains its original label with the word PINK stampedthe box has seen better days: it has tape on it, one side is detaching, and the lid is missing a flap. Her stringing has become a little loose. She is approx 15.5 depending on where she is measured.

Due to eBays removal of antique & vintage doll categories, I no longer can offer auctions. Within the community there are many who are apprehensive or skeptical of antique dealers, while most of us are simply trying to run a small business or fund our own collections. Once you are a dealer, you will understand that this community is small and most long-timers dont intentionally harm buyers.
