Rare, Mint, 1959 Shirley Temple doll from Ideal

  

This gem mint Ideal doll was a 1959 Christmas gift from my mother. She ordered one doll, but received two, and this one has been in storage since 1960, never exposed to light. Note the photos of the four damaged box corners, which are a result of shuffling it around in the closet.

It's hard to imagine finding a nicer doll than this one. I also still own the second doll that I played with for years.
