Shirley Temple 13 Vintage 1930's Ideal Composition Doll. This estate item is a 13 inch Shirley Temple doll by Ideal. The doll body material is composite. It was made sometime in the 1930's. The overall condition is Very Good with only a few wear spots, which are shown in photos, and one hand done repair to the back of the dress, also shown.

I have not found any areas of crazed finish on the body, face, legs or arms. The metal stand is included.

This series of dolls had opening and closing eyes with real upper lashes and painted eyebrows, lower eyelashes, lips and nostrils. The body is a fully articulated set of 6 pieces strung together with elastic for natural movement. Here are some other details: Hair: Golden blonde - curls are a bit smooshed since the hair has been under a net.

Eyes: Hazel - Open and close. Mouth: Open with 4 teeth visible Lips: Red lipstick Dress: Handmade Underwear: Full slip with panties attached Shoes: White calf skin with bow and button details & snap closure Wear points (see photos): Slight wear front of neck Left hand wear Whites of the eyes are slightly yellowed.
