VINTAGE SHIRLEY TEMPLE DOLL w/ GREEN EYES. DANBURY MINT 1996 - DESIGNER ELKE HUTCHENS. This Shirley Temple doll is a quality piece for your doll collection. She was designed by artist Elke Hutchens and manufactured by the Danbury Mint in 1996. She originally had amber-color eyes that have changed to fluourescent green.
She measures about 12 tall in her seated position. Her body is made of fabric that is stuffed, and her arms, legs, and head are porcelain.The doll's light pink outfit has white lace edging. Her white leather shoes are intact, including the laces. Her bloomers, under her dress, have lost their elasticity. The Danbury Mint mark and the year 1996 can be seen on the top part of her back (see photos).
The name Shirley Temple is lightly etched just above the mint mark. She is in good condition with no visible cracks, scratches, nicks, or discoloration. There is no authentication certificate included. Please review photos and ask any questions before purchasing; we will be happy to answer them.
