Shirley TEMPLE Little Miss Charming 1936 18 Composition Doll By EeGee Marked EG

  

This 18-inch composition doll is a vintage collectible that every Shirley Temple fan will adore. The doll features blonde, wavy hair and hazel eyes, and is Little Miss Charming.

Made by Eegee's in 1936, this doll is a rare find for collectors of vintage dolls and movie memorabilia. The doll and is perfect for display or play. She is dressed in a onesie. I have also re-dressed her in a red velveteen dress with white collar, black shoes, white socks.

Her mohair eig has lost its volume and curls. Her sleep eyes open and close normally. There appears to be a small crack about an inch long from corner of her right eye and another about 1/2 under right side of that right eye. Her red painted mouth is open showing her teeth.

Her complexion is great except for a couple of light spots on her leg which I have tried to capture in my pictures. There is a small pin hole on 1 wrist like maybe it held something at one time.

Makers mark EG on neck. There is aa inch long crack on back of neck near the EG mark small chips to 3 fingers left hand.

During heart bypass surgery four of my fingertips had to be amputated. She is still very pretty even after all these years.
