(reference pic only - not included with doll). 1930's 18" (inches) Shirley Temple Composition Doll Tagged Polka-Dot or sometimes called "Coin Dot Outfit. Embossed on her neck but not completely legible.

Embossed on her back: SHIRLEY TEMPLE 18. This sweet portrait of Shirley Temple is 18 tall, created as a well-nourished child doll, beautifully molded & sculpted. Shirley's cheek & flesh tones are "healthy", & her full, shiny curly blonde mohair wig has 3/4 of a partly detached original tag: GENUINE SHIRLEY TEMPLE DOLL WIG NRA U. The original white organdy dress with red & white polka dots & red ribbon trim is also tagged with the markings: NRA SHIRLEY TEMPLE DRESS U. CODE IDEAL NOVELTY & TOY COMPANY.

Dress is in very good condition, with a couple small stitched repairs on the right shoulder (very small). Still overall retains excellent eye appeal & was never washed! She also wears an original Shirley Temple combined one-piece white slip & panties which are original to the dress. Her sox & snap-shut oil cloth white shoes with buckle are also original to the doll, & are in excellent condition. The eyes are open & close hazel color with full dark lashes. The all-original eyes on this doll are unusually remarkably clear & radiant! Sometimes the doll needs a gentle forward upright tilt to make the eyes stay open all the way, but they are slightly almond-shaped smiling eyes anyway - not round at all.

They then stay fully open, & close smoothly too. Beautiful for a nearly 90-year-old gal!

She is sturdily strung, & has no cracks, crazing, dings, chips nor losses. From a No Smoke Environment.
