Vintage 1930s 16 Flirty-eyed Shirley Temple Baby Doll Composition & Cloth Body

Some listings are fixed price, please make an offer is you are interested. This listing is for a pre-owned Vintage 1930s Flirty-eye Composition/Cloth Body Shirley Temple 16 Baby Doll. This is a pre-owned item(s). This is a Shirley Temple Baby Doll. She is from the 1930s. She is the 16 Composition/Cloth Body Baby. She is marked on the back of her head Shirley Temple. She has open/close flirty eyes(they move from side to side as well as open & close).

She has an open mouth with 2 upper teeth and 3 lower teeth. She has molded hair under the mohair wig. Her head swivels around on the shoulder plate neck.

Her arms are composition and her legs are composition from the thigh down. She has a flat bottom so she sits nicely.

She has a voice box that does not work. The arms move up and down slightly. Shirley is having a very bad hair day.

Some of the hair on the back of the wig seems to be missing to me. She has really short eye lashes. There is flesh colored paint on her red lips, it appears to me that someone repainted her face.

The shoulder plate looks good. The arms are attached at the shoulder and the cloth around them is speckled with dark brown specks and some dried glue residue. The fingernail on the little finger and the ring finger look repaired to me. Both arms have heavy cracking in the composition surface. The legs have a flat sewn joint attaching them to the body.

Where the cloth attaches to the composition leg has wear holes on the back of both legs where the metal attaching wire has worn through. The left leg also has a hole worn through on the front of the leg. There is damage to the toes on the right foot. Both legs have crazing in the composition and areas where it looks like something rubbed off on them. Her voice box does not work and the cloth body is dingy, the upper cloth legs are discolored dirty. Please look at the pictures.
