Vintage 1930s Ideal 13" Shirley Temple Doll with clear eyes in original tagged "Curly Top dress. For your consideration is an absolutely darling vintage 13-inch Ideal Shirley Temple doll.

Shirley is made of a composition material and her skin tone is pinkish in color. Shirley has clear hazel open and close "sleep" eyes without any clouding. She has eyelashes and hand-painted facial features. Shirley's mohair wig is golden blonde with soft curls and her original light pink silk hair ribbon in front. Her wig is firmly secured with fragments of her original hair net under her curls on her forehead and at the neckline in back.

The back of her head is marked "Shirley Temple" and "Shirley Temple 13" on her back. Shirley has some crazing on her body and more of a crack type line above her left eye and under her right eye, as shown in the photos. Shirley is wearing an organdy pleated pale pink dress from "Curly Top, " with a cream-colored bib collar with delicate embroidery and light blue silk ribbons at the neckline and wrist ties. The dress is secured in the back by two buttons with buttonholes.

The dress has a rayon "Shirley Temple" tag sewn into a seam in front. Underneath her dress, Shirley is wearing a cotton one-piece undergarment with a few tan type marks on it, see photos. On her feet, she is wearing cream colored rayon socks with pink stripes to match her dress and black oilcloth shoes with a buckle at the front and tied with black laces.
