Vintage 22 Composition Ideal Shirley Temple Doll Wearing Original Fur Coat and Captain January Dress. Very pretty Shirley Temple Doll wearing her original rabbit fur coat and dress from the movie "Captain January", slip and undie combination, oilcloth center snap shoes, socks, ribbon in her hair and original 1930's Shirley pin. Original mohair wig set in ringlets.

Her dress has remnants of a size tag sewn into the back seam. Her coat closes in front with two crocheted buttons. 22 Shirley is all composition, jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips.

Face paint is lovely and original. She has renewed hazel sleep eyes with thick brush lashes.

Hand painted lower lashes (missing some), multi-stroke eyebrows, bright cheek blush, open smiling mouth showing six upper teeth, tin tongue and a dimple in each cheek. Strung tightly - she does better with a stand. Very good fingers and toes with out repairs.

Free of chips or lifting. She has very tiny cracks at her eyes and one crack on her belly button. Paint wear to all joints. Dress has the remnant of a size tag, two original buttons but a rip at the rear of one shoulder and sleeve elastic is stretched out. Rabbit fur coat is original by Ideal for Shirley dolls, has two working crocheted buttons but its' silk lining has shredded and is mostly gone. Socks have many small holes. Shoes have "wrinkled" bows in front and wear to edges. Shirlet pin is in very good condition. It is original (1930's) and has writing along the edge. MARKED: SHIRLEY TEMPLE on her head and SHIRLEY TEMPLE 22 on her back.
